Lincoln Navigator takes power and refinement to a new level. This is the first choice for customers who want a luxury SUV. The America’s original full-size luxury SUV, Lincoln Navigator still provides uncompromising levels of luxury, capability and functionality. From outside, one can’t find many differences between the current 2008 line-up and the previous models. Most of the updates for 2008 are restricted to comfort and convenience features only. For 2008, the Lincoln Navigator can be seen in three new exciting exterior colors like White Suede, Vapor Silver and Stone Green.

The most noticeable change in the 2008 Lincoln Navigator is that it comes in a simplified packaging. Optional features of the previous models are made standard items like Power lift gate, heated and cooled front seats, PowerFold™ third-row seats and a 14-speaker THX® II-Certified audio system with SIRIUS® Satellite Radio. Rearview Camera System that mounts in the rear lift gate handle adds even more appeal for full-size SUV owners. For safety, there are antilock brakes, an electronic stability system with Roll Stability Control, side-impact airbags for front-seat occupants, and side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats are standard.

The overall frame and independent suspension along with the smooth V-8 power is especially combined to give the experience of a quite and relaxing ride. With the latest models of the Lincoln Navigator one can enjoy a confident ride and handling along with unmatched comfort and luxury. The 2008 line-up is launched with Navigator and Navigator L. Both the models are available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. Both versions of the Navigator are powered by a 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8 engine and are teamed up with a six-speed automatic transmission. It gives a very impressive 9100 pounds of maximum tow rating.

The Lincoln Navigator L is 15 inches longer than the regular one with an additional 25 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the third-row seat. With both the second and the third-row seats are folded, the standard Navigator has 103.5 cubic feet of cargo space, while the Navigator L provides a cavernous 128.2 cubic feet of cargo space. Eight adult passengers can sit very comfortably. The front seats are adjustable 10 ways along with adjustable pedals for more comfort. Both front seats are heated and cooled, and all eight seats are covered in leather. Some new optional features include a Monochrome Limited Edition Package that gives new outer trim and cladding and power folding side rear mirrors and for interiors the package has black carpet and floor-mats, black wood trim and distinct seats with black-leather inserts and headrests with logos of Lincoln’s stitched there. A Monochrome Limited Edition Package is available in white, black, silver or green colors. Some of the standalone options are 20-inch chromed aluminum wheels, premium leather seats, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, power running boards, and a power moon-roof.

Navigator is now even more appealing and attractive for full-size SUV owners.
