The 2008 Lincoln Navigator is designed keeping in mind the expectations of the customers and what they normally look for in a compact SUV. The 2008 Navigator is a carryover from 2007 models. The 8-seater 2008 Lincoln Navigator is much spacious in its class to give the passengers feel of an extra comfort. For the current line-up, the Lincoln Navigator comes in a choice between:-
- Rear-wheel drive (2WD), and
- Four-wheel drive (4WD)
There are two stunning and attractive trim levels: Luxury and Ultimate. All Navigators are built at the Michigan Truck Plant in Wayne, Mich. The Navigator Luxury series come with all the latest amenities for a large luxury SUV, like 18-inch wheels, three-row seating for eight, leather upholstery and multizone climate control. The Ultimate has some extra features like a power rear liftgate, power-folding third-row seats and heated/cooled front seats. Both the latest versions of the Navigator are powered by the same 300-horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8 also used in the Mark LT pickup, but in the Navigator, this engine is teamed up with a six-speed automatic transmission. The maximum tow rating for the Navigator is a very impressive 9100 pounds. Prices for all the models have been kept reasonable as compared to its state of the art facilities.
