The 6-speed automatic transmission offers up to seven percent increase in fuel economy on the highway as compared to a typical 4-speed automatic.

While the base model starts at $47,755, the top end model may cost as much as $53,655. However, the price of the 2008 Lincoln Navigator has been kept reasonable considering its features.
