2008 Lincoln Navigator- Specification-Overall

The impressive and suave 2008 Lincoln Navigator is truly a classy product from Ford's Mercury Division that manufactures and markets Lincoln cars. The 2008 line-up is a carry over of the previous year line-up that begins the third generation production of Lincoln Navigator. With very few interior changes suggested by the customers themselves, the 2008 models are the latest product in the large SUV segment. Perfect for all customers who want the fun of a premium full-size SUV.

Both the Navigator and Navigator-L are a full-size luxury sport-utility with seating arrangements for eight adults. The models come standard with a 5.4L V-8 300 HP engine, 6-speed automatic with overdrive, and a 33.8 gallon fuel tank that delivers 13 MPG in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. The 6-speed automatic transmission gives an improved shift quality as well as faster acceleration along with seven percentages more fuel efficiency than any other conventional 4-speed automatic system loaded cars.

Standard safety features include antilock brakes, electronic stability control with Roll Stability Control, side-impact airbags for front-seat occupants, and side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats. The vehicle is equipped with a first-in-class THX® II Certified premium audio system that can produce high quality sound at 600 watts. The system is fully loaded with 6-Disc CD changer and 14 high definition speakers. The speakers are proportionally distributed in the car to produce crystal clear sound with zero distortion. The interior has got enough legroom, headroom and arm room. The cargo area is spacious enough. The Lincoln Navigator L is 15 inches longer than the regular model and offers an additional 25 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the third-row seat.

Some of the other latest options for the 2008 models include a Monochrome Limited Edition Package with new outer trim and cladding, power folding side rear mirrors, and unique badging. Inside, the Monochrome package brings black carpet and floor mats, black wood trim, and distinct seats with black-leather inserts and Lincoln logos stitched on the headrests.

The expressive and distinctive design with impressive power and refinement gives a truly pleasant feeling to drive a Lincoln Navigator. Literally, the 2008 models deliver luxury and prestige in a full-size SUV.
